Been planting out a good few seedlings over the past week. Spinach, corriander, beetroot, radish, pea, spring onion.

Plus: my first daffodil has flowered!

Sowing per Mr Dowding’s suggestions on his calendar. Onion, beetroot, radish, corriander, spring onion, pepper, chili, spinach, peas (for shoots). And some flowers – Arnica and Zinnia.

With Lola’s help, I planted a couple of rows of rocket and parsley in the bed near the apple tree.

Daffodil bulbs pushing up through no-dig bed around Apple tree. I also cleared bramble root from the polytunnel side and sowed crimson clover.

Including pots, which are:

• 1 bag kestrel
• 1 bag pentland javelin
• 2 bags Caledonian rose (rooster substitute)
